164. The 360° Rule · Exterior angles always sum to a full circle

The sum of exterior angles is always 360°.

∠1 = 72°∠1 = 72°∠2 = 72°∠2 = 72°∠3 = 72°∠3 = 72°∠4 = 72°∠4 = 72°∠5 = 72°∠5 = 72°72° + 72° + 72° + 72° + 72° = 360°72° + 72° + 72° + 72° + 72° = 360°ABCDE
The sum of exterior angles of any convex polygon is always 360°, regardless of the number of sides. As you walk around the polygon, you turn through the exterior angles and complete one full revolution.
